Shortly after the commencement of Caritas Australia’s annual Lenten appeal Project Compassion, the coronavirus pandemic struck the country, closing schools, workplaces and churches and leaving the nation largely confined to our homes. With the growing need for Caritas Australia to help protect vulnerable communities globally from the virus, singer Gary Pinto and his band of star-studded collaborators stepped in to raise spirits and much needed funds.
