The Doohan Discourse: 10th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B

My homily for the 10th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year B) as preached during the 5pm Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Hamilton. The readings for today were Genesis 3:9-15; 2 Corinthians 4:13 – 5:1; Mark 3:20-35.

“God will be God as and when God chooses. Our choice, not merely one of intellect, is to choose to be on the side of God or not. If we choose God, we might encounter disorder, chaos and conflict, but we will also be recognised as the brothers and sisters of Jesus.”
