Student volunteers at Taree Community Kitchen

The 2020 school year has started with St Clare’s High School Taree Year 10 students working closely with the wider community to celebrate what it means to support and understand the value of helping others.

The students and teachers volunteered to work in the Taree Community Kitchen and prepared, served and cleaned up after serving the meals.

As well as experiencing what it means to give back to the community, they also gained practical skills in food preparation and washing up.

However, the award for being the fastest dish washer goes to Mr Hobbes.

Well done St Clare’s it was a privilege to work with you.
