When teacher Michael Eccleston set out in June for his #3weeks2days Refugee Awareness Run, his aim was to raise awareness of the plight of refugees and contribute to funds for the CatholicCare Refugee Centre in Mayfield.
Last night, San Clemente High School, Mayfield opened its ‘Sight and Sound’ exhibition in a celebration of works from across Visual Arts, Textile and Music.
On Thursday 17 November, St Benedict’s Primary School, Edgeworth, held a colour run as part of the You Can Do It program, raising money to purchase and upgrade technology for the school.

The Diocesan Public Speaking Final held today at the Catholic Schools Office saw 46 primary students from Kindergarten to Year 6 represent their region. Speeches were both informative and entertaining, if not a little inspiring.
