Buuranbal Marray Art Exhibition
Last week, both Holy Name Forster and St Joseph's Bulahdelah staff and students had the honour of attending the Buuranbal Marray Art Exhibition opening, which formed a part of the Forster community's NAIDOC celebrations. The project represented efforts to connect with the wider Worimi Country community and was the result of several months of dedicated cultural learning.

Students from St Joseph’s Primary School in Kilaben Bay finished Term 2 in style with a celebration to support Matilda, Year 5, who chopped her locks for cancer research.
Students host school netball tournament to connect to culture
To celebrate NAIDOC Week 2023, students from San Clemente High School, Mayfield organised an Indigenous Community Netball Day.
Four other high schools across the Diocese participated in the initiative - St Catherine's, Singleton; St Joseph's, Lochinvar; St Bede's, Chisholm; Catherine McAuley, Medowie; and St Mary's, Gateshead.

Diocesan Swimming 2023
Last week saw the end of the school swimming pathway in NSW. It has been an outstanding year for our Primary and Secondary school swimmers.
