To what should we aspire?
‘Aspiration’ is the latest buzzword, the magic touchstone which will apparently give us entry into a golden age in which individual striving for wealth will solve all the problems of wide-spread inequality and disadvantage presently existing in a country once known as the land of ‘the fair go’ for all.

I still smile to myself as I write Storyteller/Writer when responding to the occupation question on official forms but I am pleased to confirm, these days, it really is how I make a living. When I consider my ‘why’ for pursuing storytelling it comes down to three Cs: communication, creativity and connection.

Everyday holiness
“Holiness” has deep roots in the tradition of faith; it is the characteristic that the Bible and our liturgy apply most often to God.
